This is the core product, an integrated customer relationship management system designed to let companies focus their entire enterprise on their customers with minimal time and effort. ADAPTcrm comes in two editions – Enterprise (that use Microsoft SQL Server) and Professional (that uses Pervasive.SQL). ADAPTcrm Enterprise Edition is functionally identical to ADAPTcrm Professional Edition except that it offers account replication for remote users using Microsoft SQL Server’s replication technology.

Like most CRM applications, ADAPTcrm can be extensively configured using setup tables. In fact, ADAPTcrm provides many customization tools via easy setup tables that usually require complex programming or database administration. However, your business will invariably have needs for customer management that go beyond the features built into ADAPTcrm. For example, if your business sells reservations, you may need to add reservation tracking capabilities or perhaps link to a system that you already use. If you sell advertising space in magazines, you will probably need an advertising order system to track these sales.

ADAPT has several tools in one. First, it gives you the ability to call custom programs from various “hook” points in ADAPTcrm. This lets you seamlessly embed your customization into the software. ADAPT contains an application program interface (API) so that your custom programs can directly access the underlying database tables of ADAPTcrm and even call common ADAPTcrm functions (such as scheduling an appointment or opening an account record). This requires the use of eDeveloper which must be purchased seperately.
