ADAPT Software Applications Adds Self-Customization Technology
to CRM Solution

IRVINE, Calif. – January 14, 2003 – ADAPT Software Applications, Irvine, Calif.-based developer of CRM software has announced ADAPTsdk, a new technology that enables consultants, resellers and customers to develop customized CRM solutions entirely without relying on writing programming code.

ADAPTsdk is a complete, rapid application development environment that offers the ability to add new features, design screens and new tables – all without writing one line of programming code.

Based on the Magic eDeveloper application development tool, ADAPTsdk lets consultants, resellers and customers create customized forms, trigger batch processing jobs and even build entirely new client/server and Web-based applications. The ADAPTsdk kit requires the use of Magic eDeveloper, which is provided free of charge with an annual maintenance fee.

ADAPTsdk enables consultants, resellers and customers to extend the feature set of ADAPTcrm by adding new screens that are embedded seamlessly within the ADAPTcrm dashboard or individual records as forms or folders. Other customizable features made possible with the ADAPTsdk include the ability to access the internal data tables and program components of ADAPTcrm from custom applications. For example, a developer could create a time and billing system that automatically creates sale opportunities in the ADAPTcrm database or launches the ADAPTcrm customer screen.
