ADAPT Software Named Microsoft® Business Solutions Partner

IRVINE, Calif. – April 17, 2003 – ADAPT Software Applications, Inc., announced today that the company has been named a Microsoft® Business Solutions ISV partner for the Microsoft Great Plains product. The ISV status is recognition by Microsoft that the ADAPT Customer Relationship Management product, ADAPTcrm, complements and adds to the feature set of Microsoft Great Plains.

According to Brian Dunn, CEO of ADAPT, “We’re pleased with the Microsoft affiliation. ADAPTcrm is ideal for small and emerging businesses (typically 5 to 25 or more users) using Microsoft Great Plains. From a cost, integration and functional standpoint, ADAPTcrm is a perfect fit.”

ADAPTcrm combines enterprise-class tools for managing marketing campaigns and ROI, sales opportunities and pipelines, service contracts and incidents as well as business processes, company-wide knowledge and back office functions with a single, quick installation. “In a nutshell, it's a high-end solution for smaller businesses using Microsoft Great Plains without the typical barriers to entry – specifically cost, time and IT resources,” said Wolfe.

In addition to Microsoft Great Plains, ADAPTcrm is integrated to a wide variety of popular accounting/ERP solutions, including Best’s MAS 90 and MAS 200, Platinum for Windows and BatchMasterPFW, Exact’s Macola Progression, and manufacturing systems from IndustriOS and SYSPRO. Without exiting ADAPTcrm or navigating through complex menus of a second application, users can create sales orders, check shipments, inspect customer accounts receivable, verify inventory levels and perform other critical functions found in these systems, thus eliminating duplicate data entry or having to ask others for information.

To reduce training requirements, ADAPTcrm incorporates a highly intuitive user interface. New users can immediately begin to navigate around the system without formal training or reading a single page of product documentation. “The designers of ADAPTcrm made a conscious effort to eliminate toolbar pull-downs, keyboard commands and hidden (right mouse click) menus. Everything is visible and straight forward,” said Dunn.
