ADAPT Software Applications Establishes Major Presence in India

IRVINE, Calif.– January 21, 2003 – ADAPT Software Applications, Irvine, Calif.-based developer of CRM software, has announced the formation of ADAPT Software IAP India, a distribution operation established to sell and service ADAPTcrm software in the Indian marketplace. ADAPTcrm software combines collaboration, executive management, marketing, sales, service, fulfillment and ERP integration in a single, enterprise CRM solution.

According to ADAPT CEO Brian Dunn, “ADAPTcrm is ideally suited for the Indian market, which is in the early stages of CRM evolution. Because ADAPTcrm offers full, feature-rich CRM/SRM functionality in a truly affordable, easy-to-use and easy-to-deploy comprehensive application, it is perfect for the Indian market, which is characteristically SME.”

ADAPT Software IAP India (ADAPT India) will sell ADAPTcrm directly and through selected channel partners. Headquartered in Delhi, ADAPT India is now operational and in the process of recruiting system integrators to train on all aspects of the ADAPTcrm solution.

ADAPT Software IAP India is being headed by General Manager Ashish Kamotra, who, for the past three years, was actively involved in CRM consulting for various Indian industries. With India’s growing role as a manufacturing and high-technology center, Dunn sees vast potential for ADAPTcrm, especially in industries which “feed” these sectors, including Airlines, Retail, Petroleum Products, Hospitality and Insurance. He also sees increasing demand for CRM from advertising agencies and firms involved in telemarketing, direct marketing and data collection. “ADAPTcrm can enable these industries to maximize current opportunities and organize for the future,” he says.
